A novel that tells the tale of four attractive women from the same small Scottish town that slowly find themselves drawn together, and to each other as they begin to experience an array of emotions. Desire, jealousy, hate and rage; to name just a few that they are unwittingly forced to endure.

Unbeknown to the women they are being covertly manipulated in a joint Anglo-American experiment on the emotions that male and female soldiers face everyday in combat. The prize, the ultimate soldier that is free of any emotion, can withstand an intolerable pain threshold and who recovers from injuries quicker than the enemy.

The experiments however go disastrously wrong forcing a crack SAS unit to attempt to recover the team responsible hidden in a well defended underground research facility.
